1. Agreement to Terms
By joining this affiliate program, you agree to these terms in full. If you violate them, your account gets terminated and unpaid commissions get forfeited. Simple.
2. Commission Structure
You earn a commission on each qualifying sale made through your unique affiliate link. Commission rates and payment thresholds are displayed in your affiliate dashboard. We reserve the right to modify commission rates with 30 days' notice.
3. Payment Terms
Payment Schedule: Commissions are paid monthly, provided you meet the minimum payout threshold
Payment Method: Via the payment method specified in your account settings
Refund Policy: If a customer refunds their purchase, the commission for that sale is reversed
Chargebacks: Chargebacks result in immediate commission reversal and may trigger account review
4. Cookie Duration
Affiliate cookies last 30 days from the initial click. If a visitor purchases within 30 days of clicking your link, you earn the commission.
5. Prohibited Activities
These will get your account terminated immediately:
5.1 Branded Search Terms
You may NOT bid on or purchase paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) using ANY of these branded terms or variations:
"The Black Book of Power"
"Stan Taylor"
Any misspellings or variations of the above
This includes exact match, phrase match, and broad match campaigns. You can run ads on relevant topics and interests, but branded terms are off-limits.
5.2 Spam & Unsolicited Marketing
No unsolicited email campaigns (spam)
No automated DMs on social media
No comment spam on blogs, forums, or social platforms
No fake reviews or testimonials
No misleading pop-ups or forced redirects
5.3 Trademark & Brand Misuse
Don't create domains that include our trademarks
Don't create social media accounts impersonating the brand or author
Don't suggest you're officially affiliated unless explicitly authorized
Don't modify or alter our promotional materials without permission
5.4 False or Misleading Claims
No fabricated income claims
No guarantees we don't make
No false urgency tactics (fake countdown timers, false scarcity)
Be honest about what the book is and what it teaches
5.5 Fraud & Gaming
No clicking your own links
No incentivizing clicks without purchase intent
No cookie stuffing or other technical manipulation
No creating fake accounts or fraudulent transactions
6. Promotional GuidelinesWhat You CAN Do:
Create honest reviews and recommendations
Share your affiliate link on your blog, social media, email list (if permission-based), or website
Create content about psychology, power dynamics, influence, and self-improvement that organically mentions the book
Run paid ads on relevant keywords and interest-based targeting (just not branded terms)
Use provided promotional materials in your marketing
Discuss the book's concepts in podcasts, YouTube videos, or other content
What You Should Disclose:
Legally, you must disclose your affiliate relationship. Use clear language like "I earn a commission if you purchase through this link" or "Affiliate link." Follow FTC guidelines for affiliate disclosure.
7. Intellectual Property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use our promotional materials for the sole purpose of promoting The Black Book of Power. You may not:
Modify book covers, logos, or official imagery
Reproduce or distribute the book's content
Create derivative works from our materials
Register any trademarks incorporating our brand names
8. TerminationWe Can Terminate:
Your account at any time, with or without cause
Immediately for violation of these terms
With notice if we discontinue the affiliate program
You Can Terminate:
Your participation at any time by notifying us
You'll receive any earned commissions above the payout threshold
Upon Termination:
Remove all affiliate links and promotional content
Stop representing yourself as an affiliate
Outstanding commissions above minimum threshold will be paid according to normal schedule
Commissions below minimum threshold are forfeited
9. Liability & Disclaimers
You promote the book at your own risk. We're not responsible for your promotional methods, claims you make, or how your audience responds. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stan Taylor, the publisher, and all affiliated parties from any claims arising from your promotional activities.
We provide affiliate tracking "as is" without warranty. While we strive for accuracy, we're not liable for tracking errors, technical failures, or lost commissions due to system issues.
10. Modifications to Terms
We can modify these terms at any time. Material changes require 30 days' notice via email. Continued participation after changes means you accept the new terms. If you don't like the changes, terminate your account.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming.
12. Taxes
You're responsible for all taxes on your commission income. We may require you to provide tax documentation (W-9 for US affiliates, W-8BEN for international affiliates) before payment.
13. Relationship
You're an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or joint venturer. You have no authority to bind us to any agreement or obligation.
